Accessing the Linux Desktop with No Machine

The alpha/bravo/charlie group of Linux servers can be accessed remotely, using full graphics, using the No Machine client, also called the NX player.

The NX player makes use of a proprietary compression technique so that remote desktops are responsive even over regular Internet connections.  The NX server will automatically direct users to the server with the greatest free capacity at time of login.

Download and install the appropriate NX client program, and then make a connection to the server

When logging in to the server, please make sure that your username is entirely in lower case letters.

See how to download, install and configure NoMachine. This demo also illustrates how to share and transfer files.
